The easiest way to speed up page loading is to disable your web browser from loading website images. Find your internet browser below, then follow the steps to disable images.
Google Chrome
Find the settings button on the screen. It is located near the top right hand corner, below the X and to the left of the user image.
Click on “Settings” (This will be near the bottom right hand side of the page.)
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Advanced.”
Click “content settings.”
Scroll down to and click on “Images.”
Click on “Show all (recommended).” The words will change to “Do not show any images.”
You can now close the settings tab. If you want to change your browser to allow images, follow these same steps, clicking on “Do not show any images.” The words will change back to “Show all.”
Firefox
Open Firefox and type ‘about: config’ in the address bar.
Search for ‘permissions.default.image’
Adjust the value from 0-1. The value is set to 1 by default. Choose 2 if your internet is slow. The values are as follows:
1: Allow all images to load 2: Block all images from loading 3: Prevent third-party images from loading.
Internet Explorer 1. Click on the "Tools" icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen (the icon is shaped like a gear wheel) 2. Click on 'internet options' 3. Click on the 'Advanced' tab in the upper right corner of the box. 4. Scroll down to 'Multimedia.' Click inside the box beside the words 'Show pictures' to uncheck the box. Click 'Apply', then 'OK.'
